enter a float in the parade
It's NOT too late to get involved and enter a float either 'motorised or walking' - including those with a 'political' message. Anyone interested in participating in the parade should download our Carnival Parade Application Pack or contact samuel@birminghampride.com with any questions.

IT GETS BETTER
This year we are endorsing the worldwide project IT GETS BETTER - which now features over 30,000 videos on You Tube. The campaign aims to help young LGBT people and show them that if they have been bullied in their teenage years - that things really can and do get bettter

Costs to enter a float...
Walking Entries from community groups affliated to LGBT Birmingham, charities with less than 10 employees, or individuals: FREE ENTRY
Walking Entries from charities with more than 10 employees: £50
Walking Entries from commercial organisations or public bodies: £250
Float Entries from participating Gay Venue's, Charities, LGBT Community groups : £550*
Float Entries from Commercial organisations and public bodies : £800*
* Costs for float entries include hire of the float, driver, fuel, safety rails and insurance.
Costs exclude dressing of the float or the wheel marshalls required

If you can help out with sewing, building, designing, painting or lending your creative flare to the Birmingham Pride lead float, then come along and help out!
