Community SportsThe Community Village Green is back for 2012 and is set to be the best ever!  It's always a hugely popular element of Birmingham Pride, with a real sense of community. 

Whether you're looking for a relaxing time with family and friends, the chance to take-a-break from partying and do some chilling-out, or you simply fancy getting active in the Community Games, and many more activities - the Community Village Green area is the place to be.

Join Birmingham’s LGBT community groups and organisations in the Pride Community Tent. The tent will be packed with stalls with information on groups including groups like Pink Shield, Birmingham LGBT, Staffordshire Buddies, Rainbow Voices, Journey MCC, Brum Bi group, Quest, Summit House, Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra, Pink Souwesters, Sandwell LGBT, LGBT Interfaith Network, Eye to Eye, Moseley Shoals, BGlad, Out Central and Work it Out and many more

Returning to Birmingham Pride for a 4th year, all female band, Eeek, hailing from the Midlands, breathe a sense of freshness into the female acoustic music scene.

Solo artist from Birmingham, currently developing his style between folk, jazz, indi pop, and ambient music.  

5.30 KING ALBERTO (Drag King) King Alberto
Daniela Mory aka Drag King Alberto is an all round performing artist who has established herself in London since 2002.

6.00 LAZ ROGERS Laz Rogers
Laz Rogers is a 24 year old Singer/Song Writer from Wolverhampton.

6.30 FLETCH@ SINGSONG Fletch
Fletch@ is a well-known Deaf performer in the UK. Performing songs in sign language, and has appeared on various TV Progs and magazines. www.signsong.org.uk 

7.00 SHANGHAI STARR Shanghai Starr
Shanghai has worked alongside many professional companies, giving the Arts a kiss of life around the Midlands.

7.30 SYKES Sykes
Birmingham’s Sykes has opened for Mary J bilge, Gyptian and Lemar@ the LG arena, Angie stone, Mario Winas @ The O2 Academy.

8.00 FAYE BAGLEY Faye Bagley
Faye Bagley is a singer/songwriter from Walsall and closes the community stage for the second year in a row.

Eighteenth century girl band, bedecked in extravagant period outfits and using voice, cello and harpsichord to perform what was essentially the pop music of the Regency period - humorous and highly entertaining.

Emma is one of the UK's most talked about female singer/song writers, hailing from Birmingham,  and is currently working on new material for her solo album, to be released in June 2011.

Amanda Stone is an award winning Singer from the Midlands, and has been on the Circuit for over 10 years now singing all over the UK.

Emily has a broad musical history from singing with Rock and blues bands, the duo 'eman'im', small Jazz ensembles to fronting one of the most prestigious jazz big bands in the country.
